Privacy policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Good Order is Amanda Stoddard’s operations consulting practice, based in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. This policy explains how I handle information collected through buildgoodorder.com and related correspondence.

Information you provide

When you send an inquiry, I collect your name, email address, message, and submission date.

When you sign up for Good Order email updates, I collect your email address and signup date. I also keep a record of where you signed up and the consent wording you were shown.

Please don’t include passwords, financial account details, medical information, or confidential client records in the website contact form. If we work together, we’ll agree on an appropriate way to share project information.

How I use your information

I use inquiry information to respond, discuss your needs, and keep track of our conversation.

I send marketing email updates only if you sign up or select the optional consent checkbox. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. You can unsubscribe at any time.

I don’t sell your personal information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

Services that handle information

The website and forms use Framer. Form submissions are stored in private Google Sheets, and notifications and correspondence use Google Workspace.

The website also loads fonts through Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request those fonts, which gives Google technical information needed to serve them, including your IP address.

I may use ChatGPT, provided by OpenAI, to help review ordinary inquiries, organize follow-up, draft replies, and manage email signup and unsubscribe records. Information I enter, or that the tool reads from an account I’ve connected, may be processed by OpenAI under its own terms.

Use of AI with confidential client information is addressed separately in the applicable engagement agreement and agreed tool permissions. This website policy does not authorize unrestricted use of client materials.

These providers process information to deliver their services. Their privacy information is available at: Framer: https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy-statement/ Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy OpenAI: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/

Good Order operates in the United States. The services I use may store or process information in the United States and other countries.

I may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, address fraud, or resolve a dispute.

Website analytics and tracking

I use Framer’s built-in analytics to understand website activity, such as page views, referral sources, and general device and location information. Framer describes this analytics service as using no cookies.

I haven’t configured Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or tools intended to track visitors across other websites.

The website has no separately configured response to browser Do Not Track signals. The service providers described above handle technical information according to their own practices.

How I protect information

I use safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved, including restricted access to inquiry and signup spreadsheets and security controls on my accounts.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

How long I keep information

For inquiries that don’t become client work, I delete the inquiry record and related correspondence from my working records 12 months after your most recent message. This includes copies of inquiry information in AI chats, saved files, or memories that I control. An unanswered follow-up from me does not restart that period.

If you also subscribed to email updates, deleting an old inquiry does not end your subscription. I keep subscription information while you remain subscribed.

After you unsubscribe, I retain only the minimal record needed to document your preference and avoid adding you back to the mailing list.

Client, agreement, and financial records are handled separately and retained as needed for the engagement, applicable recordkeeping requirements, or unresolved matters.

Deletion from my working records may not immediately remove copies retained in provider backups or records that must be retained by law.

Your choices

You can ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing hello@buildgoodorder.com. I may need to verify that the request comes from you. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved matters.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in the email or by contacting hello@buildgoodorder.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent replies to your inquiries or necessary communication about agreed work.

Updates and contact

If my practices change, I’ll update this policy and its effective date. Material changes affecting how I use your information will be explained before it is used for a new purpose, and I’ll obtain any additional consent required.
